What brought you to this site?

Were you earlier on EP? Why do you like this site over other social media kind of stuff?

Started with researching a medication change, the google search hit on a EP posting, that lead to finding EP and groups about psychology, epilepsy and brain injury which lead to a EP account then it all came crumbling down and picked up on SW. I spend a lot of time just goofing off on SW though than I did on EP, it is more of a social site than a help site. I still sometimes get into some interesting conversations.

@Subsumedpat I think there's a reason why we all still miss EP...because it gave us a very special place to find people who could talk about whatever they wanted...so what if it was filled with people with fetishes about pooping in their pants?...I had a pretty good time on that site where I could talk to more people than I ever still do on fb which is supposedly filled with my "real friends"

@blasphemy666 I went through a lot of stuff growing up and EP was the only place where I got to talk with people who suffered the same experiences and that is definitely worth putting up with people playing around with what ever. In fact fetishes often come about because someone's normal psycho-sexual development got disrupted by trauma of some kind but they don't know it because nobody talks about that sort of thing.

@Subsumedpat I think fetishes and sex, in general, is very therapeutic since it's a way or unwinding what we hold back in terms of who we really are.

@blasphemy666 You are right and sometimes with fetish it becomes an escape from stress but I am sure that can vary a lot.
