Could you marry someone with Asperger's?

I don't think I could... It may depend on his level on the spectrum, but intimacy is impossible for someone with Asperger's, isn't it always, to a degree? I couldn't be with someone and not be together, not be able to share fully with each other, share an understanding, be completely open and candid... It would be unfair to both of us. I'd always want more.

I may have answered differently before, but I've just survived a relationship with someone unable to return my love... And although he may not have Asperger's (although I'm not sure), I found the situation hard to handle... I need an equal in terms of intimacy, passion for another, and closeness.

I don’t know; it depends. Some people with aspies (and autism in general) are “higher functioning” than others. My godson has Aspergers and is one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever known. 😊

Nope. I could marry someone that would develop aspegers and I wouldnt dump them though.
