In my country, we call our close friends "bhe" (babe) or "bakla" (it means gay). Or sometimes, "Panget" (means ugly) 😝😝😝

I tend to call the ladies sugah, honey, sweetie and sweetheart. I have more personalized ones for a few

Pumpkin, or little tea cup, lol!

Not much on terms of endearment, so my choice is ... [b]Kumquat[/b] ......:)

The old Creoles in my family used the term “mon chou” (literally “my cabbage”) colloquially the equivalent of “sweetie”. I find myself using it with young people of whom I’m especially fond. So apparently I’m at that stage of life now. 😅
