Name a book that you can stick to when you are absolutely alone?

@Illeana I don't know if the Bhagwat Gita can transform you life ,
but I do know those who study the Bible find more then they were looking for .
and I don't mean like the ones who say they were forced to read it ,or grew up in church and hated it ,,all I knew about church was my brothers and I could sing and I played guitar .
They were always inviting us to somewhere to sing ,my parents didn't go
and people just assumed we knew God and the Bible ,,I hated God
He let my Grandma die and her sister the same night so I had no one left to protect me ,
I was beat everyday by a Mom who God rest her soul had some major issues ,
Dad cussed me out if I tried to tell him what went on when he was gone and then he beat me
Bullies at school and I was beat for fighting
First wife of over 10 yrs leaves me and hides my kids from me 12 yrs
Second wife leaves me when I am disabled and did everything she knew how to hurt me ,,,sold my car ,sold our home ,turned off the power when it was snowing not caring if I would freeze ,and I ended up homeless
I had no reason to care about God
But the Bible changed all that ,and God changed me
Now I have my kids back in my life ,a son ,4 of the most respectful grandkids on the planet who love me ,and I want for NOTHING
God comes first ,and he see's I want for nothing else
And it all started willing to try anything to make my heart quit hurting
The ones I hated for telling me to study ,they were right
Any way ,not trying to push a religion ,don't care for them myself
but I do know the Bible is a book that is way more then a book ,
it has ,and does change lives

@Illeana its missing one key thing I can assure you
only Christ paid for the sins of the world ,and unless you have Him you need to be perfect ,spotless ,no error in the Law
Even those who believe in myths believe in some kind of after life ,a god ,
Buried in Christ we can be imperfect but still the righteousness of God
not by what we have done ,but what Christ has done
and I didn't make me "good " He did ,as He transformed my way of thinking ,He also transformed my heart ,
restored my mind that I tried to destroy with drugs and alcohol
I doubt there is another book that can guide you to know God
have His spirit live in you ,and not change your life, but those around you ,
Heal my crippled daughter ,gave my daughter who could not have kids a child ,
helps me walk when Doctors say I should be in a wheel chair .
you would think I was lying if I told you all Christ provided for me and how fast once I stopped hating Him ,
The Bible is the essence of God ,the Word that was made flesh
but only they who study it with a teachable heart find it ,,to many ,its just a book ,even if it can still change you ,,knowing the Author grants us eternal life
but at least you have found something that brings you joy ,something so many from your age group can't say
you would be amazed all the boys who say they are going to Valhalla
its a place for Vikings a Scandinavia tale ,mythology
but I get ,those who don't know Christ say the Bible is a myth too
but Myths can heal ,,Christ can
