Were the Amish way ahead of their time?

I think that technology is bad for society, and it seems like more and more people are realizing this as we progress into a smartphone-laden hell where all of our personal information is stored on ten dozen different computers that we don't have access to. Will Amish culture see a resurgence in the future? I'm only half joking 😂

No. I think we can do without inbreeding, incest, lack of vacvinations, lack access to basic modern healthcare all based around a 19th century religious institution. We have enough of that in certain parts of Western society as it is.
