Santa Fe getaway. I wanna see New Mexico snow. 🥰 Hotel and sightseeing in Santa Fe, then day trip to Albuquerque, then hit Chaco Canyon on the way back to Arizona.

I stayed in Taos for two days one spring, and drove around the mountains. To get there, I drove in all the way from the east coast, and looped north through Santa Fe.
The Rio Grande to the west of Taos has a deep gorge.
To the north, onward into Colorado, are huge sand dunes. But that may be further than you want to drive.
