No, I am starting to think there is no home for me. Maybe if I didn't have kids I'll be a wanderer.

Yup i feel so blessed 😇

Nothing has ever felt like "Home," to me, but this is as close to it as it could be.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Iwillwait I understand.
I like my little apartment and the things I have in it. My lease is almost up so I won't be calling it home much longer. Used to want a house but after learning about property taxes, I don't know if that's a dream or not anymore
Iwillwait · M
@iamnikki where are you moving to?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Iwillwait few cities over I guess

I want to live on the beach
That feels more like home to me
Ferric67 · M
@SW-User see that, another similar answer (although mine is better since I wrote it...just joking...beaches rule).

@Ferric67 I miss it . I grew up in a beach town .

@SW-User I'm kicking myself for not buying this house on a bluff above a beach. Back at the end of 2020, just as this real estate craze was beginning...my gf and I went house hunting. She insisted we get a house by her sisters. I totally regret not getting the beach house. The property actually came with boating rights too (I've never wanted a boat, but I could have certainly rented that space out). It still eats at my soul not buying that house.

No, I want a water view without the threat of a big wave ruining it

We had to move two cities over just to find a house we could afford.

Do I like where we live now? Yes I do. This is probably our forever home.
Wizardry · 46-50, M
Yes like my home and nicer neighbors then my previous home
pdockal · 56-60, M
Home is wherever my loved ones are.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Yes I love my home
MethDozer · M
Not really. I can't ever truly feel at home in any lind of apartment to be honest.
