Yes it did take courage. Things can go haywire quickly in isolated areas….severe storms, blizzards, hostile territory, floods, wild animals, horse runs aways etc. Not to mention roving criminals (highway robbery).

@ProfessorPlum77 I watched a video of a grizzly bear chasing a herd of wild horses. I didn’t know they could keep up with horses.

@cherokeepatti They are pretty fast. I know they can outrun an elk.
