It's difficult to be a Greek abroad

Without olive oil and lemons life is only half lived 🥺

Maybe you should check out the local supermarket -- we actually have olive oil and lemons on a regular basis here.

@being I know that even though I’m American. 🤣

Olive oil and lemons are available all over Europe! So i would say it's hard to be a European abroad. :-)

@ninalanyon mhm if you see greeks cooking you'll understand what I mean! We bathe all foods in both of these... Literally bathing!

Greek people.

We all have olive skin, dark hair. We’re loud, eat too much, drink too much and are all hot tempered.

@QueenOfZaun that's why I love you lot!

I’ll share that with the Greek lady who owns my local diner. But we do have olive oil and lemons here.

What do Greeks do when life gives them lemons?
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@being I'll make it in addition to rather than instead of more ordinary things so that there will still be enough even if I make a mess of it or no one likes it.
being · 36-40, F
@ninalanyon yes that's best especially if you're making it for the first time. It's an interesting way to cook potatoes..
