Why would someone sell their real residence to buy a space on a cruise ship 'for the lifetime of the ship' and effectively 'own nothing and happy'? That 'lifetime' clause was triggered last week.
It means the operational 'lifetime' of the already 30+ year old ship has been less than 2 full years.
You can't even say 'the ship has sailed', because in this case it has not.
The so-called 'founder' of the cruise company already tried the same thing once not too many years ago and that venture failed.

it sounded like a weird idea.
