There are loads of central great beaches in Barcelona. One of the reasons I love that city.

Unless you need to stay beachside you really don't need to. Get a central hotel as everywhere is walkable or short metro journey.

The beaches I like start at the Port Olympic and head up the coast from there. When I went before we used Playa de Bogatell or mostly Playa Mar Bella which are right next to each other.

Don't forget to book the Sagrada Familia before you go as that gets so booked up and you can't go to Barcelona and not go there.

Flew to Greece last year and had a brids eye view along the whole Balkan coast from north Italy to Crete..
(have only been in Croatia once)

you always seem to have the best vacays.... i have not been to any of those places you mentioned...my friends have been to barcelona though so maybe i'll ask...they are beach people...have fun this summer 🤗

Barcelona is an amazing city. There is so much to do and see. Why go to a beach?

I was there a long time ago. I cant recall any of the names of the beaches but i dont recall any bad ones
