@ListenUp McDonalds is struggling in VN. Why? The local food is awesome and cheap.

@PatKirby I just didn't get the feeling of being welcome there. The people that I met and the few I got to know there just didn't seem to be particularly friendly. IMO, they seemed to be stuck-up.
In China, I was welcomed with open arms. They were all outgoing and friendly and treated me way better than I ever expected. It's like they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

To me it's all incredibly relative, based on finances and who is there with you.
I guess Puerto Rico was my least favorite, unfortunately. If I had really good money, I'd like to live in Dominican Republic. I think it would be kind of lonely though, as I'm culturally American for better and worse.
Canada I was only at briefly, but I liked Montreal.
I'd really like to visit Spain one day, and maybe Portugal.
I don't really feel at home in the USA despite living here most of my life, but I doubt I would feel at home anywhere.

@greensnacks the architecture is beautiful and the beaches. I love how Oman is just as rich as the UAE but deliberately choose to keep it less commercialised
