Is travel post-Vid something you can or can't afford ? How desperate are you to travel ?

We have no desire for international travel through we both have valid passports. Prefer seeing our own country. International travel is so effing expensive!

I couldn't afford to travel before lock down. Can't do it now. I'm good though. There are still so many places I want to see in my country even though I can't really afford it now... I guess I'll have to volunteer with that Disability group that takes badly abled people round the country. Camping in Scout halls and such to keep the cost down.

@Thevy29 Travel within Australia can be cheap or very expensive depending on whether you go to the touristy places or not.

I love travel and have done a lot and hope to do more. Some places are very far away so when I visit I do need lots of money to see what I can and make it worthwhile

In 2020 I spent 3 months abroad, this year I was away over two months, I love travelling, wish I could go more.

I don't like flying any more, so I'm only flying for good reasons

@mindless I've done a little bit before I met Mel. She's never been on a plane. We've been on a couple of cruises (boats).

@mksworld I lost count on how many flights I've been on

I'm in the USA and haven't noticed that the prices are that much more for travel.

Where to/from are you going?

I have no desire to leave here. I saw a lot of this country and parts of Europe in my 40 years as a trucker.

We travel every year at least twice. We even went to Mexico in 2020
