While I'm not trying to understand the language, yet I am attempting to understand the culture.

The Japanese Shinto religion is unique. Especially since it's origins are of Buddhist history. From some reason that I can't figure out they are a polytheistic religion which Buddhists are not so much any form of theism. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes Buddhists have deity's, yet don't worship them like Shintoism. Taoism (Chinese) just doesn't have any deities.
