Anyone been to Vegas lately?

First international trip in two years. Not sure what to expect, but it’s a change of scenery.

Vegas has become extremely unsafe. There are more gun killing in Las Vegas this year and last year than in St. Louis, which used to be the murder capitol of the United States.

Stay close to the BIG hotels and stay away from any loud noises or altercations. If you should be unfortunate to hear gunfire, hit the floor.

@Noworries72 It's very sad. The big casinos should be safe, and the really big hotels. But you shouldn't wander around off the strip.

Gotcha… I wouldn’t be inclined to. Staying at the Trump and attending a trade show at the convention center. Otherwise, I’ll stick to the strip. Thank you for your advice. @4meAndyou

@4meAndyou I was talking about Vegas at work about 15 years ago and remarked that every time we went there we’d see at least one really weird thing…like a car stopped in traffic right in front of Caesar’s Palace on fire with the tires burning….we had to drive past it to get away from it. the girl I was telling this to said “yeah we went there and was driving past a side street and saw a man get murdered”. I don’t think I want to go back there any more. It’s too overgrown now anyway.

That’s interesting. As a tourist, I’ve always had a good time there in the past… always tried to take in a show. It’s a unique place. @cherokeepatti

@Noworries72 I didn’t say I had a bad time. It’s just that weird things happen in Vegas if you go around to different places and see the casinos etc.
