It includes more than just the European country we used to know as Holland. Some former colonies, like Curacao, are actually part of the country which is why some of their baseball players have been knighted and why the Netherlands always has one of the strongest baseball teams in Europe.

@dancingtongue and even the mainland is more than Holland. There are 10 more provinces besides North-Holland and South-Holland.
