I read the article below earlier and just started crying. There's 15 year old me, back in the care home after making another Horlicks of the best foster home I ever had. Back to a school I'd been in and out of throughout the previous 5 years. And this older lad starts to offer me drinks and make up and food etc etc.
I thought I was the only one. The police mostly couldn't give a shit and I doing my damnedest to not be raped by the catholic priest that visited the home. His abuse led directly to one suicide I know.
My sponsor text as I'm crying reminding me to get the milk for tonights meeting. And I call him and cry. He patiently listens. Then says "Uou can't be responsible for the others. Look at you today. Be proud of that".
I'm just sick of reading it's still happening.... Nobody gives a shit.
