First my mother was molested by my great grandfather as a child. I got molested by an older teen when I was 12. And now my sister got date raped by an asshole she was dating down in Tennessee who was in his late 20s. Just because it wasn’t at knifepoint doesn’t mean it wasn’t rape. What kind of sicko forces himself on a young woman after she had a panic attack and overpowers her and does what he wants anyway? That is date rape. And pressuring someone to have sex is also pretty rapey. My sister is 22 turning 23. And she is already cynical about men.
