@SW-User I feel like we all fear profound suffering. To me that's a little bit like saying you're afraid of the business end of a running chainsaw.

@LordShadowfire a chainsaw's not keeping me up at night... existential angst and the fear of what suffering could come right before the end does, so i deemed it worth a mention. it is my greatest fear. perhaps you feel it too ubiquitous a fear to count.. i don't

@LordShadowfire But not everyone suffers profound pain before they die. Like Penti, I hope the transition will be as pain-free and peaceful as possible, and that’s not a given.
