People in modern society have it pretty good. Yeah life sucks. But some people act like we're going the trough the Blitz. Most people in the first world who aren't in war zones are ok. Relatively, anyway. We are a spoiled lot who need to remember the brutal context of human history and focus on sorting ourselves and the world around us before giving in to self-pity.
