i don’t think very often about my abortion

it was just a pill and then another pill and then a lot of pain but i’m used to pain and crying on the bathroom. it happened and it was over. it was never a question. it was a crisis for an unstable teenager solved in a quick visit (and a coughing over of $600) that triggered a particularly heavy period and saved my life.

it’s hard and weird to have to watch so many people who have never had to have one talk about what they think the rules should be. it’s no big deal and a huge deal all in one. but it should be nothing. it should be healthcare. as easy as taking your birth control.

And should be a choice
@MrBrownstone thank you

The only person that truly should have control over abortion is the woman herself whatever her reason... In rape or abuse situations NO ONE should be forced to keep the resulting pregnancy...
My hub's sis got pregnant at 14 but she had it. She is a grandmother now.

@Spoiledbrat that is a choice that should be made by the woman.
Tbh when they still live at home and are under age, that can get hairy. @samueltyler2

@Spoiledbrat true, but a mother at that age, is technically, legally, i believe in every state, considered an emancipated minor.
Agreed. It should be a woman’s private choice, between herself and her doctor. The people who think they should have a say wouldn’t be paying a penny for prenatal care nor would they be supporting any children born. So it’s very arrogant of them to feel that’s it’s their business one way or the other.
