A great Hue and Cry was heard across the land!

Ban the guns! Disarm everyone! Look at the death toll in Texas. Hmmm Hey how about if instead of wasting our time and emotions blaming guns we all learn to just close the door. Had the security door been closed as it was designed to be, the murders in Texas would never have happened.

@MrAndMrsX What do you think would have happened? He certainly wouldn't be in the building for some time and the teachers could have got the children into secure areas while the loon with the gun runs amuck in the school yard.

@MrAndMrsX His stated goal going back months was to shoot up a school. We have no way of knowing what he would have done had the door been closed. He might have been frustrated and blown his brains out in the parking lot we don't know. We do know he would have been on foot because he wrecked his truck in the drainage ditch.
