A great Hue and Cry was heard across the land!

Ban the guns! Disarm everyone! Look at the death toll in Texas. Hmmm Hey how about if instead of wasting our time and emotions blaming guns we all learn to just close the door. Had the security door been closed as it was designed to be, the murders in Texas would never have happened.

@TexChik Then left it open after she heard gun shots. Weird. Something not right about that account. Seems more likely she opened the door to let the killer in.

@hippyjoe1955 Supposedly she went back and closed it when she heard there was shooting but the lock didn't catch for some reason.

@robb65 Auto lock doors are pretty much foolproof. Was it a maglock? One that is able to be unlocked at a distance? We don't have that much evidence.

@hippyjoe1955 I've wondered about the details but no one is talking yet. The only thing that has been said is that the video that was originally claimed to show the teacher propping it open moments before the shooter entered in fact showed her closing it.

@robb65 Yes the initial report said she propped it open. Later reports said that she slammed it shut. Not sure how the door came to be open so conveniently for the murderer.
