Is there a tragedy in your family history?

My sister was heading into work one winter morning and hit a patch of ice, sliding in front of an 18-wheeler. She had traumatic brain injury and severe damage to her spine. She lived, but she never recovered, and now lives in basically an assisted living facility.

Oh, and her son is autistic; he lives in another facility up the street from her.
