Does anyone know what life was like before social media? [I Have Trouble Feeling Hopeful About My Future]

My mom says it was totally different like you actually had to find a phone that you put coins inside if you were out somewhere to make a call. So she would go all day or night without talking to her parents or sister. It’s hard to wrap my head around it lmao but she says it was better then now 🙄
