I'm not ready to accept AI among my SW peers

I understand. But I can tell you right now it is a dummy AI stuck in loops ,and very limited compared to what's actually out there.

If people truly find companionship in this version of AI, I am tempted to think they have sever cognitive impairments.

Oh everyone gets up in arms, says they are leaving etc every time the SW admins bequ33f something new.
But then in a week or less it blows over and we are back to fighting about covid or trump or whatever.

And most notable, all the people that that said they were going to leave are still here. 🙄

I did talk to one of those AI bots, I think Luna? Yeah and of course it was trying to talk romantically. I thought Gyod these things are worse than actual people.

Oh and BTW there are other bots on here, they just do not advertise it.
Like that Bard guy and a few others, the ones that ask very generic bor*ng question.

You won't even notice the AIs unless you PM them.

They don't even initiate posts.

Same ...I barely tolerate real people let alone bots pretending to be real people
