I'm Scared Of What The Future Holds

My dad says that relationships I'll have now won't matter at all and it's all just experience. Right now I'm in a relationship that my parents don't know about, and I'm just sad and worried because I don't want it to turn out like most relationships. I don't want it to only last a few months and for it to not work out :/ I love him.... And I don't want this to happen at all :(

Relationships are unpredictable. But don't be afraid. Give your best shot. Just keep on loving but ofcourse learn from your mistakes.

Yeah... I get it, people become bitter and mean after bad experiences. This is a long distance thing, so I guess it's easy for any guy in this situation to go for someone else. Unless that happens though, I'm never going to not love him.

@MsFuzzWuzzOreoCat: I believe that pain must not affect your ability to love again. If your relationship fails then gather up all the love in your heart again and give it to someone else. Don't let that love be wasted by bitterness or else it's like losing a piece of your heart for a person, take all the love you give back by moving on. But ofcourse for now, best of luck to your current relationship. 😉

Don't worry about it. Just love him everyday you can and don't think about things like it not working out or it'll fail a lot faster than if you didn't worry. Trust me.

Most relationships don't last. Long distance ones are often the least stable. But you are immersed in this one so all you can do is be as happy as you can be now.
