I know exactly what you mean. The more mature, sensible and wise we become, the more we can see our short comings and silliness. So even though we are wiser, we seem to ourselves to be less so.

Seems to me you picked right up where you left off and I say that with kindness and charity.

You changed.

You didn't become smarter nor more stupid. Your thinking was different. More in line with societies values back then. For that was how you were brought up.

Once you start to question society at all, your thinking becomes different.

If you don't question society, you never grow up. You become dependent on the society in which you where raised. And simply don't want it to change.

We live in a world were the adults never grew up to accept change.

Yeah. That’s kinda life. I was naive but so much more pure. There was an honesty in my naivety… and I want that honest none jaded wisdom back.
