Are you really going there? The media provides circus content that viewers want even if the viewers aren't honest about their true desires and interest. The media is doing its job. The viewers need to own their proclivities.

It's like blaming the porn actor or producer or the drug dealer or the pimp or the gun runner. If people didn't want what they are offering, they would be out of business. Can't a brother make a living anymore?

I don't get how someone can get up on a stage and spew the kind of garbage Kirk was spewing, and then the audience sitting there nodding their heads and not throwing tomatoes and rotten vegetables at him.
It obviously pushed someones button and the rest is history.
