Opinions on people? Do you love them or hate them? Do you even try to get to know them beyond the casual talks?

Do you find it worth it?
Is it worth keeping them around? Or do you also realize that people stick to you only till the point that they can squeeze a need they have out of you?

At some point you gotta ask, why keep pouring into cups that never reciprocates? Move on. Just move on.

I prefer to take my people in small doses. It takes a lot of energy to be around people. But by and large, I love them. I believe that though primarily self-interested that more people are prone to benevolence than to malevolence.

There are the malevolent out there though. The users and abusers. And even though I believe they are a minority, it really only takes being a victim to one of them once to become traumatized and jaded and guarded.
