Do you open the oven a bit when you broil?

I know I can google this… I want real opinions.

I wouldnt reccoment shutting it ....well not for long .
Sometimes I've stood by it and open and shut it, on and off, to increase temp and get quicker results.🤷
But sometimes I'm impatient .

Depends what you're grilling ....meat, or the top of a casserole. Meat smokes a bit.
