Unpopular opinion time:

Not everything you disagree with is hate speech, valid criticisms are not hate speech, inquiries for more information are not hate speech, and to add on, just because someone doesn't like something you do, that does not make them (any term)-phobic.

Also, can we just agree that any extreme activist is not doing their group any favors?

Disagreeing with me doesn't make you hateful, it just makes you a moron.

@LamontCranston I'm way past that point babe, I'm a fucking balloon in the stratosphere watching you, collecting all your nuclear secrets.
@BlueVeins Yes you are...but due to explode any time now.

Accusations of bullying and hate speech are awfully convenient shields to hide behind.

@Ducky Much like throwing in "etc" when you run out of examples, or a child going, "Well, you're a doody head." Calling something hate, bullying, or aggression when it's just a comment or question is a sign of weakness.
And a lot of things that are righteous criticism are really hate speech. But in those cases it's always the same thing: "it's ok when we do it"

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP The saddest part, is that it's true. Both sides trying to be right with that exact excuse, "Well, we did it, and that's fine, but it's wrong if they do."
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Definitely a hostile, hate-speechy kind of thing to say, Kid.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I just had this experience in here. A mental health worker who claimed mental disabled people should act accordingly to what is morally right in her opinion, while she herself was patronizing, judgemental, ignorant and extremely immature and personal attacking and gaslightning in her comments and took zero responsibility.

She was so not ok if anyone with a mental disorder acted like that but she had no problem acting like that herself.
Wise words which should be taken to heart.

Its easier to scream hate speech, then to have a discussion, its uncomfortable actually to consider other opinions.
As long as we understand that "extremist" has also been a term used rather indiscriminately—when I was growing up, MLK was considered one to some people.
To those who think CRT is real, he’s considered an extremist once again.
