Morality: the set of do's and dont's that is most useful to those who run the society you live in

I think that's a good explanation for why morality is so different across culture and country lines.

At the end of the day it's all about maintaining a power structure.

@SW-User depends on what their morals are. I like people to be safe and happy but I disagree with various legal ideas. I feel certain rules, such a ‘what words are considered ‘hate speech’’ is nothing more than submitting either to the mob, or submitting to the morality of whatever the state with a monopoly on force decides is moral.
