I find older Stephen King novels are far superior to his newer works. Anything after 1995 is just harder to get into for me. 🤔

My Favorite King novels (short story collections not included), ranked from most to least:

1. IT
2. Misery
3. Pet Sematary
4. Rose Madder
5. Dolores Claiborne
6. Gerald's Game
7. The Long Walk
8. The Shining
9. Desperation
10. The Stand

I've never read his stuff but have long felt like I should.

I mean I'm not dumb enough to not know he exist or never be even curious about anything he wrote.

it's just personally I'm more of a manga nerd as well as Fantasy ethuasist. Will give you Game of thrones went to shit but I'm all about hoping a song of ice and fire diverges from the plot of the HBO disaster.

@PDXNative1986 King wrote 2 fantasy novels- Eyes Of The Dragon (which was fantastic), and a new one called Fairy Tale.

@PDXNative1986 also, Rose Madder has huge fantasy elements and I think you would enjoy it.
