I have a will, but still want to do a trust for my son so that he doesn't have to go through probate. I am single and he is my only child ( he's almost 50 but still my child!) I just want it to be as easy as possible when I pass. I have even prepaid my funeral expenses. It gives me peace of mind.

@Mbingh01 A pre-paid funeral is a great gift for those who will be dealing with your affairs. I have one and am very pleased with the positive response from my closest family for that forward planning. It also means that the price is fixed at what I paid. Bereavement is inevitable, but such gestures at least remove some stress.
