My Ireland.

My parents brought me here when I was 10. I wanted to stay with my grandparents in Dublin, but was forced to come here. I have been home twice in my life and miss it so and over time have lost touch with many of my relatives and am sure I have lost many of them. I know time changes everything from memory to today's reality, but I still long for my grandparent's farm and the great time I had being raised there. I spent today looking at old pictures and reminiscing.

At least you have the assurance that your home still exists and you can go back and visit any time . Try being in my shoes or that of many others whos home no longer exists so they cant go back ever even if they wanted to and could afford to visit . I was forced to come here because I was no longer welcome in the country I was born and grew up in . Sadly now that country no longer exists and never will again . The worst part is the country I am now meant to see as home was partially responsible for the destruction of the place I called home .

@Rhode57 I'm so sorry to hear that. I guess it is true, no matter how bad it gets, there is always someone that has it worse.
