It's easy to be kind when everyone treats you well

Morality isn't always strength. It's circumstance. We're not sitting with righteousness, we're sitting with comfort. Actual morality isn't proven in calm waters, it's proven when the storm hits, when doing the right things hurts

So as much as people boast on their principles, it really doesn't mean much to me both in myself and others until I see them being tested.

I really love how you put this. It’s something I’ve thought about a lot, how easy it is to think of ourselves as good people until life actually tests that idea. @deathfairy it's a very black and white way of looking at everything like the duality of human nature doesn't run in us all. Everyone thinks they're a good person doing the bare minimum.
