Is there a community where rape does not exist?

On my post about consent a user posted a picture of an Arab and stated "some communities don't care about rape"

But rape occurs in all communities which means it has nothing to do with religion, race, class, wealth but men.
That is the common factor.

(and yes i do know that women rape too and that is awful)

Actually in Arab countries/ Muslim countries people get executed for raping that doesn’t happen in western countries

Some communities don't care how prevalent rape is. Others try hard to stop it.
@Munumbis I honestly can't think of any community that tries really hard to stop it. Many people say out loud they want to, but counter measures seem more performative than effective.

But there's definitely some that don't care at all. Some even elect a rapist as their president. Can you imagine that level of indifference to such behavior?

@Munumbis what communities do care?

@HijabaDabbaDoo it was the way he just implied it.

Not all communities are created equal. It happens in all of them, but not with the same frequency per capita and not responded to with the same diligence and purpose by authorities and the community.

@ekwalizur i disagree
I think that people are trying to fit the crime of rape into their own agenda of the west being more civilised
I guess it's just easier to blame one minority than all of society including yourself. Easier is rarely better though.

@NerdyPotato it's a little ignorant right
@BabyLonia very ignorant, but not at all surprising from the crowd that blames the same minority for all their problems.

In a way I'm a little jealous of them. Life must be so easy if you can just shout "immigrants" whenever something doesn't go your way and feel better about everything.

But not really. Most of the time I still rather address the actual issue and try to solve it so everyone can feel better in the long run. But I can't deny I understand the appeal of the effortless immediate gratification.

@BabyLonia I'd say it's a very ignorant right
