How come when ordering a spicy chinese dish for takeout they never make it spicy? Always mild no spice

It's seasoned for delicate, American tastes

Unless they say... No Modifications, there's no reason you can't ask for them to make it extra Spicy-a!! 🥵 If you're ordering on a app and it's not an option, call them. What's the worst they could do other than spike up you're social anxiety even more?

You can’t handle the Asian spice.

This is frustrating.
I have the opposite experience, foods that say nothing about being spicy are sometimes too spicy for my taste. Sometimes it gives off the impression they're just trying to coverup low quality of the meat they used. 🫣
