Ken was never meant as a poster boy for what they now call cis normative,just a safe accessory for pre-teen girls. I mean wouldn't you have questions if your grown daughter wanted to marry a guy who looked anything like "Ken"? I think man-buns came outta the Samurai tradition and Ken definitely can't ROCK the look"
