People don't talk as much as they used to?

Everyone is afraid to offend someone these days. Even pronouns are too much.

I think the part of that is because people are too concerned with themselves. I think another part of that is technology, and another slice of that pie is because a lot of people have things were saying but they either don't have someone to share it with or they don't have the communicative skills

We have been politically corrected to death.
