I look so stupid in a bike helment =w=

I want to ride my bike, but I can't bring myself to go out looking silly from the helment.

I know it's supposed to be there to protect my head, and I would never go out on a bike ride without a helment, but is there a way to make myself look less silly?

It appears that all the bikers I've seen look awesome in helments, and then there's me looking like a potato.

Everybody thinks they look foolish in a helmet. The fact is, you look a lot sillier riding without one. Nobody...and I do mean nobody....cares how cute you look when you're lying on the ground with a crushed skull.

@Fernie: Yea, because I really want to ride my bike.

When I was younger, I rarely wore a helmet. Luckily, I didn't get into any accidents (mostly because my street is quiet and I only rode my bike in front of my house).

@Goralski: sensible people wear helmets. People who know that they are NOT accident proof. People who think they look better with their brains inside their heads than outside. Smart people who would like to stay smart, even if they fall off their bikes.
