ah your not missing much, its not really helpful unless your trying to daydream
I can see some things. What's interesting is that when I am thinking in English, sometimes the words I want to emphasize just flash in front of my mind, all written out in block letters, against a background that looks like the way the insides of your eyelids do. It's weird.

I came across a client with this years ago.
Poor woman had a reputation her whole life for not seeing the funny side of things. And it was because she could never visualize any scenario if somebody had told her a joke !!
I don't know if it's still going. There was a Scientist at Exeter University who was conducting a study amongst folk who have it.
Quick bit of research tells me it's Dr. Adam Zemen a Neurologist.
