Does introspection tire or bore you?

Introspection is a fairly pointless exercise.
Certainly once you get beyond a certain age.
Admonish yourself for your mistakes if you like. But if you don't know WHO you are by the time you get to 40. Chances are, you don't want to know !

Interesting. You think we know who we really are unless we intentionally don't want it?

By the time you hit your mid-40's, you've tried 'living your dream.' You've tried being with 'the love of your life'. You've tried the career you always wanted.
And for the majority of us, that means massive disappointment.

Hmm depends on when I dive into it, which is quite often. Sometimes my Aspergers can turn it into hyper-fixation and I won't sleep well unless I tell my mind who's boss, which always feels liberating.

No I discover great insights into my self and other stuff...

I'm doing it all wrong if that's the case :)

Why?

It should be refreshing and envigorating imo, but maybe getting tired and bored would in some instances just be normal, and should go with the flow there ...:)

Tire me, yes, bore me, never.
It hurts some at times.
Without it I would stagnate.

Great answer

No, it's necessary for moving forward
No. Personal growth requires it.
