How can you tell the difference between a sincere sentiment from someone and a sentiment that is said as a run of the mill thing?

It is a measure of the depth of their commitment to you.
SW-User
Yes it is.
But how can you tell the difference at surface level of words?
Pfuzylogic · M
What you are asking about is sincerity in expression. If it is in person, then nonverbal body expression speaks volumes.

It is difficult unless one knows the person and intent but I'll be grateful for the expression.

You have to know the person, then you can gauge what they say against what they do
The length of time you've known them

If it is said with sincerity. Or if it was just rattled off the tongue.
SW-User
Sometimes, what is rattled off the tongue sounds sincere, in that moment at least.

Sometimes the actions after it is said will tell also

@Lizard213: Yes but by then ...it is already causing pain.
SW-User
For me, it all depends who is saying it. I don't care about good content from dark souls.
Honestly, it's more a matter of knowing the person, to gage their sincerity. Otherwise, I accept it with a grain of salt. 🙂
