You can't really force creativity can you?

I've found, when writing or making stuff, if I force my self to do it, it turns out crap, but if I do it when the mood and inspiration strikes, it turns out really good. But that can be quite deteimental to things like sleep and work.
So what do you do to keep the inspiration up with longer more drawn out projects?

Hell yeah, you can! It just takes a lot of practice. I've found creativity comes pretty easily to me.

It gets easier the more artistic and creative things you come across in your life. Makes you more unconsciously aware of what you CAN do, how far the limits go.
Having an inspiration folder also helps a huge ton.

You actually can force creativity if you manipulate and expose yourself to the specific surroundings. The thoughts will flow and so will the creativity.

It's true, you can't force it.
You can try to make it happen by thinking along different patterns.
Watching or listen to something inspiring.
You can try to draw lines or write words until you see something take form.
But it can not be forced.
