Set punishments for yourself every time you cry and the punishments should be hard. This will get you depressed but over time it will make you rock hard. Also, in this period, avoid being friendly to people.

Worked for me.But you'll cry a lot more when alone. But this would be different. It would be sadness for real reasons (because everyone will literally hate you). Over time, you get adjusted to this and become hard-hearted. Then you can slowly start socializing again but it'll never be the same. Hasn't been for me.
