What is it about people that would make you want to make an effort for them, sometimes even if they did not make the same effort for you?

It's about how they conduct themselves, sometimes we see a reflection of ourselves in them and I think it's beautiful in a way to do something for someone without expecting the same. It's pampering our soul in a way.
