Bad boss

My boss regularly sits on the phone with me while he is working and I have something to ask him. He is never prepared for anything and never meets his deadlines. I wish the people above him would take note of his poor work ethics and finally take action. I wouldn't care so much, but my contract work schedule is contingent on whether or not he gets his work done, and he never seems to keep up. I'm also qualified for his job, and he was outsourced after I had been at my company for 4 years.

Just venting.
