Unknown numbers...
So lately I have been getting unknown calls from random numbers that show up. I've used texting apps before to reach someone. Could this be someone i know trying to reach me?

forged phone numbers probably.
ALSO!
do not say 'yes' 'i do' and any other positive affirmations. there are 'robot' scripts out there that are tricking you to say these things and add you to a confirm list for services.
and if you fight them over it.... they will claim they have physical evidence you agreed to the contract in question and use that recording to provicate.

@iCrochetstuff: I have used a texting app as well and I have had a few people text my number by mistake.

possibly but unlikely. Mostly it's random computerised cold-calling, trying to sell you insurance or credit card refinancing or holiday homes, etc. I have spasms of getting these for a few months, now and then
